How To Tailor A Body Care Ritual to Your Skin's Needs

Do you have a large bottle of moisturizer from the drugstore sitting on your bathroom counter? Do you lather it on every night, only to find that your skin looks and feels dry the next day? 😱 Lower quality skin lotions are often lighter than oils and can quickly and easily evaporate from the skin. However, choosing the right body serum + oil combination and incorporating it into your routine can have a significant impact on your skin, and the best part is that you don't have to apply it every day. Your skin will soon be healed, hydrated, and glowing. Here's a NEW body care ritual tailored to your skin's needs. We'll break it down by skin type. Step 1: Exfoliate dead skin cellsDry Brushing - If you're new to dry brushing, start by doing it once or twice a week and gradually increase the frequency. If you have sensitive skin, start with very light strokes. This will remove all the dead skin cells, leaving you with soft skin and allowing for better absorption of your serums and oils post-shower. Step 2: Lather up (correctly)Eucalyptus Coco Body Wash - Not all washes are created equal (unfortunately). We recommend using our 100% natural body wash, which was specially formulated to cleanse your skin without stripping your skin of its natural oils. This will restore your body's natural oils and reduce the need to moisturize as often. Conventional soaps can be very drying to the skin. Step 3: Apply a quality serum All-Over Skin Dew - If you have extremely dry skin, apply it all over until your skin is healed. Once you're satisfied with the results, apply only to areas that need the most attention (such as elbows, knees, shins, and for date night). You only need to apply a body serum 1-3 times a week, depending on your skin's needs. Step 4: Lock in moistureAll-Over Oil - Our oil is designed to restore nourishment and suppleness for the long term. Unlike some creams and lotions, body oils don't contain preservatives or stabilizers, which can create an artificial layer on the skin (yuck). Pure oils have been used in ancient beauty routines for hundreds of years because they are rich in nutrients and antioxidants. The All-Over Oil contains no fillers and easily absorbed into the skin. This is the ideal answer for dry skin and a step you can't skip! Dry skin can have various causes, such as weather, harsh soaps, cheap lotions, and not drinking enough water, among others. The key is to establish a routine that you know is effective and healing for your skin. A body care routine doesn't have to be complicated, and neither do the products. Choosing the right body care ritual for you and adding it to your skincare routine may be the best decision you'll make for your skin, especially during the dry winter season.
