Commitment to Giving Back
Through our journey we have developed love for causes that are near to our hearts. Each year MIFA will donate 1% percent of every purchase to the following non-profit organizations to support women and families in Canada.
We hope to make an impact by donating, volunteering our time and creating awareness. As our indie brand grows, so do the amounts and we are privileged to be able to do so.
Here are a few of the non-profit organizations that we support:
Cause We Care Foundation is a Vancouver-based public foundation that helps single mothers achieve economic security, build capacity, and create positive futures for themselves and their children.
Mamas for Mamas is a national charitable organization that supports mothers and caregivers in crisis by providing ongoing support to individuals and families facing various poverty-related struggles. Our mission is to change the landscape of poverty through innovative approaches to financial barriers faced by struggling families.
Music Heals is a group of music enthusiasts and music lovers who have come together to help raise awareness of the healing powers of music. They support a wide range of music therapy services to increase access to music therapy for patients in children’s hospitals, senior’s centres, palliative care, AIDS & HIV programs, at-risk youth, habilitation, and bereavement support.
The Beayoutiful Foundation is grassroots foundation with a mission to instil the value of self-worth and self-love in young girls, inspiring them to build confidence through acts of passion, kindness, community, and connection.
