MIFA formulates with what skin loves: botanical oils and emollient-rich tropical plant butters for deep moisturization, combined with highly concentrated essential oils for aromatherapeutic affects both internally and externally.

Each individual ingredient is chosen by us with purpose, both for its unique adaptive attributes and for the combined effect of the formulations.

Rather than using harmful synthetic ingredients and fillers, we utilize the expertise of botanically sensitive chemists who understand the synergy and effectiveness of producing in a formal setting with intentional botanical ingredients; the results are efficacious, luxurious, plant-based products that work in tandem with each unique body type.

Aloe Vera – Known all over the world for its healing properties. A type of protein that contains 18 of the 20 amino acids found in the body and full of Vitamin A, B, C, and E. It restores and provides nutrition to the skin.

Avocado – Extracted from avocado trees, it's a great source of Vitamin A, D, E and fatty acids. Used to hydrate and soothe the skin. 

Bulgarian Lavender Water – Steam distilled lavender water that it's calming and uplifting scent that will reduce anxiety and stress. It is the most soothing scent a person can experience.

Cardamom – This powerful essential oil is well known for improving concentration and soothing nerves. In Ayurveda, cardamom is used as a treatment of depression. Being considered an aphrodisiac, the spicy side of the scent brings clarity to the mind and the earthiness awakens our sensual side. 

Coconut - This fruit's beneficial oil provides moisture to hair and skin and an extract, coco betaines, safely, gently and effectively removes excess oil and dirt from skin and hair without depleting necessary nutrients and moisture.

Cocoa Butter - An emollient, rich in essential fatty acids. Hydrates, nourishes, and improves skin elasticity.

Eucalyptus - Best known for its refreshing scent. It is a miracle plant that boosts mental clarity, while the healing properties will stimulate your immune system. An essential oil with antibacterial and anti-fungal properties. 

Gotu Kola Extract - Centella asiatica’s active compound is packed with potent antioxidants and amino acids to revitalize and protect skin’s barrier function. This research-backed, superstar natural ingredient effectively calms inflammation and repairs dehydrated skin with its skin-soothing and hydrating properties.

Hyaluronic Acid + Sodium Hyaluronate - When used as part of your daily skincare routine this duo acts as a super-hydrator, improving skin health and reducing the formation of wrinkles caused by dehydration. Hyaluronic Acid hydrates and plumps skin's surface layer, resulting in softer and radiant skin. Sodium Hyaluronate has a smaller molecular weight than hyaluronic acid, penetrating deeper into your skin to deliver hydration. When used together in one formula, multiple layers of the skin will be hydrated.

Lavender – Prized around the world since ancient times, the smoky, herbal scent of this flowering plant calms the mind and soothes the senses. 

Olive Oil - Used for centuries in traditional soap making. It can deeply moisturize and help soften your skin. 

Peppermint - Naturally cleanses the skin and has antiseptic and antibacterial properties. It has a slight cooling effect which soothes the skin.

Rosehip Fruit Oil - Rosehip Oil is packed with essential fatty acids, Omega-6 and skin beneficial nutrients. It provides an overnight nourishment boost for dull or tired skin and helps tackle uneven skin tone. Beneficial for all skin types, it hydrates and soothes dry skin and contains Linoleic Acid, which can help to regulate oil production for those with oily or acne prone skin.

Rosemary - A fresh piney scent extracted from the flowering tops and leaves of the rosemary plant. Used as an emollient (retain moisture) and fragrance. 

Saccharide Isomerate - A 100% plant-derived carbohydrates complex found in the stratum corneum of human skin. It gives improved skin protection against dehydration and sensitivity. It binds deep within the outer layer of the skin, meaning skin hydration continues long after application. It’s a fraction of the size of most other hydrating ingredients, meaning it can penetrate deep into the outer layer of skin.

Shea Butter - An emollient, rich in essential fatty acids. It is a humectant, helping the skin retain moisture and deeply hydrate to the skin.

Squalane - Squalane provides weightless and long-lasting hydration while balancing our skin’s sebum production. It also has a powerful anti-inflammatory and anti-aging properties.

Vetiver – This herbaceous essential oil has been used in traditional medicine for thousands of years. It is known as a sacred herb, valued because of its uplifting, soothing, healing properties.  Vetiver is a therapeutic oil that works on the seven chakras of the human body.
